Where is Our Saviour's located?

What time is worship?

Sunday morning worship is at 10:30 a.m.

Christmas Eve, the service time is 7 p.m. and Christmas Day is 10:30 a.m.

Holy Week Services
Maundy Thursday - 7 p.m.
Good Friday - 7 p.m.
Vigil of Easter - 7 p.m.

Easter - 8 and 11 a.m.
Between the services, there is an Easter Brunch in the Parish Hall.

Is the order of service easy to follow?

Yes, the order of service, from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship, is printed in a worship folder with the hymns.

communionIs Holy Communion offered?

Holy Communion is offered every Sunday. Anyone who is a baptized Christian is welcomed to receive the Lord's Supper.

How long does worship last?

Worship generally lasts an hour. The service may last 75 minutes on special occasions such as, a festival Sunday like All Saints', Christmas, Pentecost, etc., or if there are special events such as, baptism, welcoming new members, installation of officers, etc.

What time should I plan to arrive?

It is good to arrive 15 to 10 minutes before the start of worship. Allowing more time provides you with an opportunity to have some quiet time for prayer before the service begins.

Where should I park?

There is, usually, ample parking in the area between the church and the parish hall. Parking is available along the street (Old Church Street). There is handicap parking and a handicap ramp into the worship space.

What opportunities are there for my teenager?

Youth in grades 8 through 12 are invited to join us on Sunday mornings from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for our high school discussion group.

Our Genesis Youth Group is active in the life of the church participating in various service, fellowship, and worship activities. Check out the church calendar for meeting times and youth events.

What about Sunday School for my children?

Children are our greatest gift. We work at creating a safe environment where our children may experience the love of God through learning, playing, and worshiping.

Sunday School begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 10 a.m. We offer classes for younger children from age 2 up to children who are in 7th grade.

We follow the local school calendar. Sunday School begins with Rally Day in September. The Sunday School year concludes with a Church Picnic.

First CommunionWhat opportunities are there for my child during 10:30 a.m. worship?

During worship there is a Children's Message. After the message, children between the ages of 3 to 10 are invited to attend Children's Church. The children return to the nave (worship area) during the Passing of the Peace.

Children are welcome in the worship service.

For infants and children up to 3 years of age, there is a nursery in the lower level of the church. The nursery room is located in the rear of the lower level near the restrooms. There is a speaker in the nursery so that one may listen to the worship service.

What should I wear to church?

YOU are what is important to us. Wear whatever you want to wear.

Is there a fellowship time following worship?

Yes. We offer a community hour every Sunday following worship in the foyer of the Parish Hall. Everyone is welcome.
